Cupping

Cupping therapy involves placing specialized cups on the skin to create suction, drawing in the skin and surrounding tissues. This suction induces a generalized inflammatory response, increasing blood flow to the area and assisting in detoxification.

At Barraco Physiotherapy, we utilize two types of cups for cupping therapy: glass and silicone.
