Funded Coverage Through the Community Physiotherapy Program.

Here at Barraco Physiotherapy and Wellness,

• individuals under the age of 19,
• over the age of 65,

• are a recipient of the Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Programs,
• have stayed overnight in the hospital for a condition requiring physiotherapy treatment,
• Or had a surgery for a condition requiring physiotherapy treatment can access free physiotherapy coverage through the government-funded program. This program will cover the initial visit as well as 4 follow-up visits in the span of 7 weeks.

What to expect when attending physiotherapy under OHIP coverage

• Individuals who attend our clinic under the OHIP funded program can expect an active rehabilitation approach. This approach focuses on an exercise based program which the physiotherapist will give the patient to work on in-clinic and at home. This program will be monitored and adjusted during visits.
• The OHIP funded program does not cover manual treatment or modalities or manual therapy.
